I was hired to photograph details of a house located in Eldorado Springs, CO this afternoon. The house was designed at the firm where I work, Stephen Sparn Architects, about 6 years ago and has a wonderful Western essence to it. I could only imagine living in such a location with the great outdoors literally at your doorstep!

Once again its been quite awhile since I got out and photographed anything nature inspired. But luckily before work today I woke up well before the sunrise and headed to the Greenbelt Plateau trail in Boulder County. It was a biting 15F deg outside this morning but the relatively clear skies, deep snow, and setting moon made for a memorable experience.

Today I went back up to Longmont with the hopes of capturing the last building for the Longmont Museum’s upcoming exhibit. But unfortunately we couldn’t get the necessary authorization, so I just ended up taking photos from the adjacent apartment complex across the street. Considering the distance the photos didn’t turn out all that bad!

Leaving work a little bit early today, I drove up to Longmont to finish taking photos for the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center. The museum commissioned me to photograph a few buildings around the city, with the Humane Society and the Prospect Neighborhood being the last ones.

My friends and I decided to take advantage of the holiday, not to mention fantastic weather, by going for a hike at North Table Mountain park. I only took one photo but the fresh air and warm temperatures made for a great outing!

During work today I photographed one of the units of the Park Gables project in central Boulder. Located just South of Eben G. Fine Park the development offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
