I decided to test out my newly acquired lens, Canon EF100-400L, at Standley Lake Regional Park. I hoped to catch some birds and prairie dogs but the extreme winds (45+mph) and cool temps had most of them in hiding. Looking forward to bringing many more animal shots in the near future.
