My friend and I decided to take a little trip up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. On our way to Boulder I decided to take a detour and drive by Leyden, CO. To our surprise a lone Bald Eagle was perched on a Cottonwood tree. After taking a few images of the eagle we continued to Rocky Mountain National Park. At the park we spotted a few Mule Deers and the ever present herds of Elk. What a wonderful day :)
