After working 4 days (10 hour days) I had decided to go photographing early friday morning. My original plan called for me to head up to Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder. But after leaving my home I noticed that there were thick clouds over the Divide and strong winds. Knowing that there wouldn't be all that much up there I decided to head to Doudy Draw Trailhead. The final images were taken at my home in Arvada. The insects photographed are female Giant Ichneumon Wasps. They were rather large and were a surprise to find!
