After visiting Carlsbad Caverns earlier in the day I went to explore Sitting Bull Falls. My father and brother joined me on what I thought to be a short drive but turned into a lengthy 30mile drive on winding dirt roads. The temperature was 100F degrees when we finally arrived at the parking area but luckily the waterfall is a short walk from where we parked. The water is from a natural spring from the canyon walls and the waterfall itself is around 130ft tall.
